Notes

Felt great! Was a light rain and in 50s when started. Goal was to be a training running which mostly kept it too that. Ran with the 1.30 half pace group 1st half and wore wind breaker until 15 miles. Stopped first mile for about 20 sec to re-tie super shoes. Another 20-30 sec stop around mile 11ish to use bathroom. Super shoes were amazing. Legs are saved so much longer. When got to lake, got to get hugs from Izzy as her sorority was cheering. Pulled away from fellas I was running with. Didn't really pick it up until 20ish then started to pick folks off. Felt great so kept pushing. Was trying to catch a guy the last 2 miles who was really rolling. Was able to dip under 6 the last miles (5.52) and close really well. Was 2nd masters and 19th overall. 2.55.08 6.41 avg. Went thru half in 1.30 then came back in 1.25. Hydrated well and took I think 4 maybe even 5 gus. Stomach as ok too.
