Felt good. Went out hard but did not feel it as felt really good. Wind was absolutely brutal the last 5 miles. Straight into it. Executed plan though just how I wanted. ran the first 16 at avg of 6 flat, dropped to 6.15. Just was not able to finish off good again. worked off GPS as race only had kilometer markers so did not account for course being 26.45. Overall happy with how competed as I gave it everything I had. Passed guys the last 10 miles and only got passed by 1 person the last 10 miles. Finished 39th overall, 7th in age group and 2nd american. Flat course but a couple of over passes. 3 turn around points that were very tight on last half of course. 6.11 pace, 37.12 10k, 1.18.34 half, 1.59.48 20 miles
