Felt good. Went out hard and had the lead from the gun. Wanted to establish some distance and then hold on. Was warm and started to feel it with 4 to go. Last mile up the hill backed off the gas knowing I had the win and ran slowest mile. 34.32 overall and 1st win as I have finished 2nd several times. Joey ran good even splits and ended up only 15 sec behind me. 5.10, 5.23, 5.51, 5.22, 5.40, 6. Warmed up about 2 miles then ran backwards on half course and came back in with the 1.45 pace group to collect 6 miles on the warm down.
