Last "long" run before Bluenose 10k on May 18th. Went out a little too quick for a slow run, but reeled myself in and slowed down for most of the run. Fought mild stitches the whole way (ate cereal with fruit and yogurt just over an hour ahead of time). Tried "Sharkies" gummies at 4k mark mostly just to see how they tasted and how my stomach took to them. Seemed to be okay, but didn't really need them for this run I think since I had eaten so recently. No knee pain to speak of, and finished strong without pushing too hard. Target time for Bluenose: 55:00.
