Pretty good race. Ran from mid-back early on. I came through the first 200 at 31 and I was well behind the leaders. Stupid pack. I moved up at the 500 and 900 meter marks and then got by the 6th place guy (Conner Johnsen) on the turn of the third lap. Couldn't quite run down Quintana or Mendenhall in third on the last lap, but trust me after Thursday's nice little 800m finish I had both those guys in my sights all along the backstretch and right up to the finish line. Really happy with the effort today, but I'd like to see a faster time before the seasons over. Sub 4:20 would make it a pretty good year.
