KingCo race. Went pretty well. Started to pull away after the 1 mile mark, but Sam passed me back on the sand because I just DOGGED the beach part. It always seems to tire the crap out of me so I've decided to just let people try and win the race on the sand and then catch back up after I've avoided wasting all that energy. After the sand I managed to get away from him. I had 40m on him with about 800m to go but he started to make it a race towards the very end. Managed to get him by 5 or 6 seconds but a good, fun race overall! Spike had a bit of a down day, over 40 s slower than he was at Bellevue Invite. I was 20 s slower so maybe it was the course?
