Went on the eliptical wearing my cross trainers without the arch supports, just had the odd twinge in my left ankle now and again. Border line hop on left leg test both before and after using the eliptical put planned a day off running anyway. My only concerns is an ache under my little toes just hope its a bruised bone and not a stress fracture.

Did 2 x Program 5 (until distance read 2000 each time) with a 1 min rest and wipe down in between each rep (rest time not included in duration) - trying to keep heart rate at <=70% - 144bpm HRR same as the recovery runs.

Wore the Garmin HRM

Resting HR 42bpm - last checked 25/03/2011

Max HR 188bpm, guestimation 205 - (age 44 / 2) + 5bpm fudge factor
