Notes

Pretty good run. Ran a slow warmup to the Drexel sign, then from there did my first "hard," but immediately had to stop at the post office because two construction trailers were blocking the sidewalk. When I finally got going again, about 1:22 had ticked off the interval. I ran from there to 8:42.12, which took me to "the tree" (right before the old 2.06-mile circle). Then took a 3-minute very slow break. Then 8 minutes on from the triangular wedge of grass just past the monument thing by the Waterworks restaurant to the old 3-mile circle and then two minutes back the other way, stopping at the beginning of the first boathouse (past the building with the lighthouse). Took another 3 minutes, then did the third "interval" from where you turn off the one path on to the other by Lloyd Hall to the bridge past the old 1.5 mile bridge (the one that is under construction, and one North of Market (JFK?)). Then took another 3 minutes (actually 3:17 to the top of the ramp and maybe 20 feet), and then did my last "interval" from there to the far end of Abner's Steaks, but with a detour at 38th about a third of the way along that Chili's/Abner's/whatever building. Had a detour on the way out too -- to the garage at 34th. Also had stoppage on the way out at the post office mess and on the way in at the highway ramp. Overall, good run. Physically, I felt ok, but still some deadness. Clif Shot after the second "interval." Water throughout.
