Pretty good first long run of the countdown. Little worried physically though -- right leg felt a little off for the first couple miles, and then right achilles was very noticeable in the last 3-4 miles. Will ice. Hopefully nothing serious. Pretty cold day, and had a fairly strong headwind for parts of the in.
Nearly even splits (slightly positive): 59:42.46 out (8:37.7 pace for 6.92 miles), 59:21.37 in (8:43.7 pace for 6.80 miles).
