tried not to let the race affect how I should be appreciating my team and their accomplishments. Mega proud of my sandwich brother Nick R. for not only breaking 5, but breaking 4:50, I'm telling you the sandwiches are going to continue to pay off. Super proud of Logan Brown for breaking 5, seriously this guy is a fricken beast and a half, I wish I had the dedication he has as a freshman. Logan is a different breed of hardwork. Noah continuing to show his persistence after his difficulties with injury is again fricken insane to see, if everyone on the team had his resilience, I don't even know how great we would be. And last but certainly not least, Nicolas with just the clutchest 4x8 anchor. I gotta say a quick apology for making him make up all that distance but I mean, hey maybe me running a crappy 4x8 made you run faster to catch that guy! Just kidding, seriously watching Nicolas catch that guy was like the Dave Wottle youtube I occasionally watch for inspiration. I could not have been more shocked that was just amazing, so yes, big big kudos to Nicolas there. Overall, for our distance guys, I think this meet was full of greatness and proof that hardwork does pay off. Great job guys.
