Notes
This was a great race for me. First race I really was training for and after only 6 steady months of training and having a few years off of running before that, I felt this was a great race. Goal was 1:45 and ran 1:44. I thought I may be able to break 1:40, and I probably could have, but just took it easy after the hills. My legs were killing me from the 10 mile KSF run two days prior. I hit my goal and finished 3rd in my age group, which was unexpected. Also, my slowest mile was 7:37 up the hills and that I was very happy with. I haven't had hills to train on in Florida, so that was really good. I went through 13 miles exactly 1:30, which would put me faster than my half marathon time from April. This was a tough course and overall super happy with this race.
