Notes
Wore my older training shoes today and just started running from the house. Felt decent since I took a day off yesterday. I had no route in mind but decided on the 8 miler I did a few weeks before. I believe last time I ran 56 minutes for the 8 miles and had to walk/stop the watch...this time I ran all the way up and felt really good. I was tired from keeping a good pace all run but all I felt was just some heavy breathing and the rest of my body felt okay so I just went ahead pushed up on the hill. I slowed down quite a bit when Wertz gets really steep at the end but just wanted to keep shuffling to get to the top and my main goal was to have no mile over 8 min pace on the hills which I did. I was pretty pumped about this run. Wasn't the fastest in the world but with the hills I was very happy with the effort.
