Despite the pouring rain, this started out great. Light legs, feeling good, I was already in a good rhythm about a mile in. Unfortunately, nothing kills a good run like the sensation that I'm going to shit my pants. Mile 5 onward, it was pretty miserable, and I ended up having to stop about 4 times to let my stomach settle before moving on. I did pull a 6:55 last mile, and it felt shockingly easy, almost like I was running 8 minute pace.
