Didn't race this as the last two days + racing this would have been too much. Started towards the back and gradually worked through. First half was 9:14.5 second was 8:44.5. I was 4th at the turn around and gradually took the third then second with about 400m to go. Fun gradually winding up but the right decision as my legs were never anything but shagged from start to finish. A full out effort would probably have dented the confidence. First was stupid fast at 14:50 odd! Second by 3 minutes is something you expect in a half not a 5k!! I looked the dude up and his marathon PB is 2:17!!
