I went out looking to do 10 miles with 4 miles at tempo. After a few miles I knew this wasn't happening as I felt so flat and really didn't want to run at all. Once I stopped focusing on how crappy I felt and just ran with no thoughts, I instantly felt better and ran better and finished much better the last 4 miles.
