I love this route. I haven't done in awhile so I was looking forward to today. That is until it was time to run. I felt wiped out before I left and this carried over into the run. Mile three is all downhill and I only managed 8:15. I decidd right there to forget about pace and just relax and get 12 in.
I was not looking forward to the hills (miles 7 & 8), but halfway through the first hill, I seemed to 'wake up' and running felt much easier. From that point onwards I was able to run faster each mile.
