What a miserable day for a marathon. Reno and I were on the Bay State Marathon course supporting Susan. I met up with Reno at mile 13 until Susan came by. Then we ran to the finish and made several running trips the our cars. The weather got progressively worse with wind and cold rain. I usually don't mind the cold, but this wet cold is just sick.
Susan looked great at the half marathon mark, but then the weather elements took it's toll on her as it did for most runners.
But she 'toughed' it out and was determined to finish. It was not a day to be looking for a fast time.
I had a gig in Nashua after the race and it was snowing hard! What happened to Autumn? It seemed like we went from Summer to Winter.
