Notes
This was a run of emotional highs and lows. I started off with my foot feeling the best it has in weeks. At mile two I started feeling a tightness/light pain in my right hip abductor area. At 2.5 I stopped to message it a bit. It slowly started to get worse and I knew then it was a strain or tear. I walked the last half mile. I have swelling in the abductor area. After some research it appears that I have a Tensor Fascia Lata strain. This is baffling to me because I am hardly running at all.
I remember thinking at mile 2, when I first started feeling it, my thought how sometimes when you train less, you feel more aches and pains. I can't seem to catch a break with running right now. The gym is out of the question as of tomorrow I can't drive anymore until I get my UK license, which might takes weeks if not a month. I will have to hope for decent enough weather to get out on the bike.
