I ran well even though I had only 4 hours sleep and coming off an 11 mile run the day before. It started pouring rain the last mile... I loved it! :) When I'm doing strides, I'm starting the first few conservatively to monitor how my legs feel. If they feel OK, I then run the remaining strides closer to normal stride speed. The warm weather effects my glutes/hamstrings, causing more tightness.
