The pain I had in the injured hamstring was gone. However I did have a cramp, soreness on the lower hammy, just above the knee. It felt like someone had kicked me in the leg. In the first half mile I thought... oh, oh... I might not be able to run. But then it loosened up and it was manageable. I parked my car at the hospital when I dropped off Bone and ran the Charles River. Dirt path and bridges... love it. I was able to run faster than yesterday, so this is encouraging. I wrapped up my right leg with an ace bandage. Halfway through I had to take it off because the bandage was chafing against my left inner thigh. So the plan is to take it one day at a time, run the relay, (I don't know how fast I'll be able to go yet) and come out of that race without further damage because the BIG picture is training for the Boston Marathon!
