I planned on 6 x 800. I just didn't have it. I was working way too hard to run 2:57/2:58. So I stopped at 2, and did 6 x 200. The 200's felt very tough. I averaged 42's... slower than the 300's I did last week. I think I'm done with track workouts. I can feel myself getting stale. Time to switch into marathon training. I was planning on doing this in a couple of weeks. I was trying to hang onto a few more track sessions, but I can tell it's time to let it go. I've had a good long stretch of track workouts which really improved my speed. Time for a change. Finished off with 6 x 100 yd eccentric strides.
