Last week I did 9 hill repeats. With the race Saturday, I cut back and did 7. The usual hill was blocked with traffic, so I had to do 5 of the 7 on a different hill.
I had no tiredness or soreness from Sundays hard 2 miles, so I recovered nicely with only one easy day between.

I didn't want to do the usual strides afterwards because I was being cautious with that fast mile on Sunday, so instead I recovered for 3 minutes and did a mile pick-up, hoping for a sub 7:00, which i did in 6:48. This mile was uphill from .5 to .8 mile, so I am even more happy with a 6:48.
