First track workout in ages. Last time I did track at the Keswick Centre was May 2014. Back then I had a great workout. 12 x 400 at 91 second average. That was a great workout and today I hoped to be close to it.
Well, I surprised myself and ran much faster. 12 x 400 with 200 rest. Ave: 87.
Splits: 91, 89, 88, 89, 87, 88, 88, 86, 87, 87, 86, 83.
I was really shocked at the 83 for the last one. I pushed harder in the last 100, and I felt I might have got to 85. So to see an 83 and the hammy just minor sore, I couldn't ask for more!
In 2014, my fastest one was 88.
Because my hamstring in getting better, I can run faster. :-)
