2 mile handicap run with the club. I am so glad there was a workout tonight that fit my current training. If I had to run hard by myself tonight, I would have badly struggled and more likely put the run off until tomorrow.
I felt tired, but gutted out this rum. Originally I wanted to run 6:20 pace, but changed it to 6:25 because of how I felt.
After the first mile I felt I was running too hard, so I backed off for about 200m and was able to regroup and run adecent 2nd mile.
Splits: 6:23, 6:21. Ave: 6:22.
It wasn't easy, but I hit the numbers.
