I started off on the road a wanted to add 4 miles in the middle of the run on one of my old trails that I haven't been on in 3-4 years. I don't enjoy trail running like I used too because after about a half mile I turned around and got back on the road. It's not fun having to run slowly, cautiously and favoring the left foot because of not wanting to land on a rock right on that annoying plantar wart. I need to find trails that are not too rocky.

I ran easy, pushing the hills and a few flat sections. My legs felt very tired and heavy from miles 7.5 to 9 where I slowed down a bit, but I managed to work through this and pushed the last 2 miles in at 7:47 (uphill), and 7:32.

Today was the first time since winter that I took music with me. One of favorite songs came on near the end and that's what prompted me to push in the last 2 miles. :)
