I felt absolutely great today. Even the warmup mile was much faster than usual. I feel like I am getting back in shape. Good last mile in 6:22 and it was mostly with a moderate headwind.
The only downside was the left hamstring started bothering me the 2nd half of the fast mile. Not the hammy strain, but tightness/soreness in the upper hamstring/glute area. I have been down this road many times. It doesn't affect easy running, but hard/faster running sometimes can be a struggle. I will take 2 easy days and see how it feels.
