Test Run for Sunday's 10K
After the first mile, the Achilles pain was bad and I thought, my way I can race on Sunday. By mile 2, it subsided a bit, and I went from No Way to 'unlikely'. Mile 3, a bit better and the thought was... hmm... maybe. Mile 4 was the test. Gradually picked up pace and got the last 400 under 10K pace and the Achilles didn't get worse, so I will warm up race day and make a decision at that time.
That last mile felt harder than expected. Fitness goes quickly when you can't 🏃properly.
