Notes

I had difficulty getting this run in. I planned on running about Noon, but I was jammed up in the office so I went out after the workshop in Medford. My plan was doing some miles on the paved trail by the Mystic River until it got dark and then finish off on the track next to the school. I don't know what I was thinking of because the trail and track were snow covered. Only 10 miles from east Boston, there is more snow and ice here.

I had my NB 826 with me. I hadn't run in them in months because they would hurt my Achilles. I wanted to try them again and see if I could now run in them. As I was changing into running gear I noticed that I didn't have the inserts for the shoes! Fortunately I wore my Nike's to the workshop so I switched out the inserts.

My Achilles didn't like the NB's (not as bad as last time I wore them) and it getting dark with icy roads, so at about 3 miles I stopped and went back home, switched into my Saucony's and ran at Breeman Park which was clear. I felt tired on the run... first time this week.
