This was supposed to be an easy 12 miles. Not worrying about pace. Just get in 12 after yesterday's hills.Well that plan went out the window. My legs were trashed. I could barely run. When I hit mile 5 at 9:03, I called it a day.
I was surprised. Last week after hill repeats, I felt more tired but ran ok the next day. Yesterday I didn't feel the hills took as much out of me.
So it was obvious by body needed a recovery day. I will go out tomorrow and get the 12 in.
