I had planned on 10-12 mile hill workout with strides, but I had to scratch the plan as the left soleus has gotten worse since yesterday. I stayed mostly on the flat. i felt fortunate to get in 8 easy miles. It's worse on the downhill. I have to be careful with this and not let it become a problem. I haven't slept well since returning from Scotland and today it really hit me. I was very tired. Caffeine by best friend today. :o) It felt like I was running 8:40's. I was surprised when I checked my watch and saw that I was clocking about minute miles.
