What a difference getting a good night sleep can make. I got 8 hours which is a lot for me. I went out to the hills on the marathon course, started at mile 14, warmed up for 2 miles and did miles 16-22 and back to 16, pushing the up and downhills. Finished off with 2 easy miles. I felt great. This was the hardest I've run in a training run in a long time. When I finished I was spent. :)

Splits: 2 mile Warmup - 8:05, 7:31... hard section: 7:02, 7:04, 7:03, 7:17, 7:17, 6:50, 7:27, 6:57, 7:09, 7:14, 7:05, 7:04, warm down: 8:12, 7:37. The 12 mile hard section came out to be at 7:08 pace.
