First PHMP pace run for Bay State. I was hoping to run close to 6:50,but not sure if I am fit enough for that pace. The first mile was 7;14 and I thought no chance of going any faster and that it would be tough enough to stay with this pace.
However, I started to feel better the rest of the workout and ran negative splits: 7:14, 7:04, 7:01 and 6:50. Ave 7:03. Ideally, I would like the miles to be more consistent, but with not having run at this pace in a while, the pacing, rhythem will take time before coming back.
