First time doing hills since last year. Because i haven;t done any hard running to jack up my heart rate since the 5K in November, I started slow and gradually build up speed. I was surprised and psyched to get under a minute for the last one.
6 hill repeats. Cross wind.
1:07, 1:06, 1:04, 1:03, 1:02, 0:59. Ave: 1:03
Followed up with 6 x 200 strides: 46, 46, 45, 45, 44, 44. Ave: 45. Tailwind first half.
This was a very encouraging start for my 6 weeks of hills. Hamstring and glutes were fine.
