Marathon goal pace is 7:25. 12 miles at 7:55 to 8:25 per mile, then the pace over the last 6 miles will average 7:25 per mile with the last couple of miles at 6:45 to 7:00 pace and the last 400 meters very fast.
First 12 @ 8:18. Last 6 @ 7:25, but I wasn't able to run the last 2 under 7:00. But still, a great solid workout. Glutes did cramp a bit the last few miles, but not as bad as a few months ago.
I carries and drank a sports drink from miles 12-15.
This is the longest I have run since Boston 2010!
