This was my first run the Dumfries Running club.It was a very interesting set-up they had for a run. Teams of two were set up and each runner did approximately 3 quarters of a mile, then slap hands while the second runner goes off. This was done on a nice bike path with about a 400 jog between interval. Eleni and I teamed up and we both ran fast. We did 4 laps each totally approx. 3 miles each. My splits were 4:30 - 6:26 pace, (I ran the first one slow because I was in the lead and wasn't sure of the route), 4:10 - 5:57 pace, 4:02 - 5:48 pace, and 3:59 - 5:45 pace. hamstrings were fine as the cool weather and rain really helps me.
