CMS club 5K. I won a race for the first time in 9 years! My time was a bit slower than I thought I might be able to run. I stayed with the lead runner until the last half mile where I kicked it in. I felt I could have pulled away earlier but I didn't know the course and didn't want to get lost.
Two hills and stong headwinds made it a bit tougher than a flat course.
I have no speed right now as I haven't run at this pace or faster since February. A few more races under my belt I feel I can go 30-40 seconds faster.
No problems with my Achilles so I very happy with this race. :)
