Notes

Blue track workout with Reno, Justin and Susan. Nothing went right today. Susan had to go back because she forgot her socks. The plan was 5 sets of 200,200,400 with equal recovery. I was having sharp intense pain in left hamstring/butt. Painful enough that I had to bail out of the workout after 3 sets. It hurt even warming down. I wasn't even running as hard as I normally would because of the way I felt. I only put in a 2 mile warmup and this wasn't enough. I didn't do strides... another mistake. My body was telling me today that I'm not ready to run hard yet. perhaps still feeling the marathon? I did have this pain on and off for a fe months, but nothing like today.

Splits: 47, 47, 92, 45, 54, 90, 44, 45, 89

I'll run easy the rest of the week and perhaps put in a fartlek run if I feel OK.
