I knew this was going to be a challenging run because I felt tired warming up. But I toughed it out and had a good workout. The great news is I tired my Saucony racing shoes. I put an extra insert in and my Achilles felt fine until the last mile. I also shortened the warmdown a bit because pain. Very hot last 2 miles. 8 seconds per mile faster than last week. Last mile at 6:28. My first sub 6:30 mile since the 5 mile race in June.
