Finally back to normal! I knew right from the start that I had my legs back. 6.5 miles steady pace. 2 miles at 13:44 (6:53 pace). Half mile recovery and then 6 x 40 second strides. My major goal for 2010 is to break 3:00 at Boston. This comes out to 6:53 per mile. I know I'm asking a lot of myself to knock another 5 minutes off my marathon time, but I am going for it. I need to gradually get used to around 6:50 pace in parts of some of my longer runs. My time at the New Bedford Half in March will tell me if I have a realistic shot at it.
