Notes
This was supposed to be a Park Run. I got there just as the race started. I didn't reset my watch properly, so when I got it sorted out, I started running at the back of the pack.
I put more effort at the start than the previous 2 Park Runs this year here and thought I was running sub 7:00 pace, but when I glanced at my watch at about .7 of a mile, i was shocked to see 7;23 pace. My right glute was hurting and I was discouraged at how slow I was going so i jogged off the course and made it an easy 5 miler.
The glute had improved this week and didn't bother me on Wednesday's workout, so I didn't expect this. This is probably a blessing in disguise because the glute would just gotten worse and I was running bad anyhow. I need to get this sorted out before the marathon.
