This was going to be a great workout. I thought I had started off conservatively, but when I saw the split for the first 200 at 41, I was shocked. It felt like a 45! I am not ready to run that fast yet, so I backed off and did the next 200 in 43 and the 400 at 87.
On the next set, I had a cramp in my upper left quad and more seriously, the left hamstring started to seize up, so I stopped the workout. Better safe than sorry.
I probably tried to do too much as I did 2 hard miles 2 days ago and my body is not used to it.
