I felt great right from the start. Ran steady easy pace up through Williams St Loop and then over to Breman Park. Miles 8-9 were on the track - fast on straights, recover on turns Hamstrings were fine. I felt like I was slowing down the last half mile of the second mile. But actually I was going faster. I just felt more tired.
Splits were: 6:19 and 6:09. Ave 6:14.
Other than one good rack workout six weeks ago, this was the hardest I've run since the Rhody race. That's how long I've been off speed training. Finished off with 6 x 100 yd eccentric strides.
