I wanted to do 10 x 800 at 6:50 pace with 200 rest. And then after a 400 rest, do a hard mile hopefully under 6:30.
The workout went great except for the left glute/hamstring, (mostly glute). It bothered me the entire workout, but got worse the last two 800's, so I cancelled the hard mile.
I have 10 days until the Bay State half marathon to get my leg right. If I can, I will go out at 6;50 pace and see if i can hold it and get a sub 90 minutes and break the 60-69 course record.
I hit my numbers.
