Eleni and I did what is now our weekly Wednesday track/pizza night. This workout was such a huge surprise.
I was so much faster than previous track sessions. I felt like I turned the corner and I am making big gains to my 2011 fitness level.
6 x 400 with 200 rest, 1 x mile with 400rest and 4 x 200 with 200 rest. (400 rest after the last 400.)
Back then for this workout, I was doing the 400's in 85 and the mile just under 6:00 pace. I had my best turnover since my comeback and even the hammy played nice. :o)
Splits :
400's : 87, 87, 86, 87, 86, 85. Ave : 86. Last week ave : 90.
The mile was 6:03. The last timed mile on the track about 6 weeks ago was 6:11.
200's : 43, 42, 41, 42. Ave : 42.
