I'm not sure, but I think I may be doing my strides too fast. I feel like my form is good and under control, but I am just completely gassed after a couple and a minute of recovery doesn't seem to be long enough. I know I have a fair amount of natural speed based on how fast I ran as a teenager, so maybe carrying all this extra weight is the culprit. Either way, I just feel like I shouldn't be as tired as I am after doing strides. Other than that, I feel great.
