It was a gorgeous day for running as we had a cold front come through last night. Since I knew it was going to be cool, I slept in and didn't get started running until after 9. My legs were still sore from Thursday's tempo run and weight training, but despite that I had great run. I settled into a nice little groove and the miles just ticked by. I thought I kept a pretty consistent pace and the GPS data seems to show that as well. Stopped at the water fountain at Wall Springs Park, but other than that this was the longest run I have gone without walking some this year. The effort was truly easy and with each long run I am gaining more confidence. Nice way to start the weekend.
