northern section....sunny and comfortable. it was not like the other 2 years where it was hot. the first 34 miles were trail, then 6 miles on dirt and paved road, and the last 9 miles were on rail trail....my left glute/IT was sore, but not too bad. it seemed to get worse when i walked/hiked. i ran with Linda Reilly for the last 30 miles. we finished strong on the rail trail...i may have been able to complete it a little fast, but who knows. i was pleased with my finish...didn't feel too tired at the end. Katie Bordner, Paul Clements, Brian Donovan, Miriam Fein, Rick Martin, and Brett Wiley also ran and did well.
