10K- 51:07, 13.1- 1:48:06, 21M- 2:58:17................humid, overcast morning...started at different spot than last time, up on top of a hill...started good, felt comfortable. i knew i had to start slow since it was so humid. around mile 14, runners started slowing down/walking. i felt strong and held a steady 8:15-8:20 pace the entire way. around mile 18, still felt good and decided to try picking it up around mile 20. overall, i had forgotten this course was basically flat, not downhill like they advertised. was pleased with the way i ran it. i wanted a sub 3:40 and stuck with game plan. Caryn ran a PR half marathon at 1:53:27. Nicky Cassel came up with us..she ran a 1:45 half marathon. we had fun, nice weekend. we also went to Mansfield for Terry's induction ceremony into the Mansfield Hall of Fame for baseball.
