ran/hiked Don Halke's event...stuck with Jon Rich, Jen Henry, Kristen Mam, Anne Weaver, and Ashleigh Garber the entire way. Kristen and Anne stopped and left us at mile 20. also ran with Todd Miller and Jenn Newcomer for some miles. it was a hilly challenging course. around mile 20 i started feeling a little sick/bloated. we figured out i may have been dehydrated. i was craving ice water even though my camelbak was full of powerade...i dumped that out and got ice water filled and felt 100% better.... we could have easily have gotten lost but didn't. i also could have ran ahead of them but wanted to stay with #teamawesome the whole way....most importantly it was fun.
