with Tess Barnes, Curtis Libby, Shannon Oakes, Becky Kosek, Art, Samantha Hurlbutt, Laura Moore, and Mike??...went south to north...rained much of the morning...felt good. Tess's husband Mike, and Eric Kosek had an aid station on Brad Wales picnic area and at the finish....from the start, everyone ran faster than me. i pushed hard, kind of like race pace, to try and keep up.Shannon turned around at mile 9...both Sam and Art started to slow down towards the end and i ran/hiked with them a little bit. Tess's husband Mike drove us back down to the start.....overall, nice day. wasn't expecting to run so hard...left knee felt good for the most part. i was depleated at the end.
